Yesterday Marbella All Stars 2017 began in our facilities with a program of activities that made us spend an unforgettable afternoon. Mr. Ali Saudi, CEO of Santa Maria, welcomed the guests by inviting them to enjoy a special day in which golf and gastronomy joined hands. Also participating in the opening ceremony were chef Diego del Río, President of Marbella All Stars along with Alfredo Ramiro, Club Manager.

To begin, the participants participated in the “I Santa María Golf Tournament for chefs” which has been one of the main novelties of this edition. The objective of Marbella All Stars to include this activity in its programming is to associate the concepts of High Gastronomy with a type of Tourism of excellence and Golf. The chefs who attended the event put their skills to the test in an unbeatable environment, with a challenge: to derive which one of them would achieve the longest blow, with the added difficulty of flying over a wonderful lake that stands out on the 1st hole. Of the Province, as Leonor García – Agua, responsible for Sabor a Málaga, businessmen and friends participated in this original event. The chefs had a very pleasant time while testing their skill. The jokes and the fun were constant in this event that had like winner to Chef Javier Hernández of the Candado Golf Restaurant.

After the Tournament, the participants lived an unforgettable buggie experience. This unique caravan traveled around the countryside showing visitors the beauty of the environment in which we are located.

Halfway we stopped to refresh ourselves and contemplate the wonderful views that can be seen from the Mirador on the 8th and 11th holes.

miradorsantamariagolfTo finish the day, the attendees came to our restaurant, Hoyo 19 where we enjoyed a cocktail and the chefs had the opportunity to chat and exchange views on the current gastronomic sector.

These activities were the starting point of the II Edition of Marbella All Stars, held on 22 and 23 May. The event was attended by 20 companies and 150 professionals who for two days have managed to turn Marbella into the epicenter of gastronomic innovation. Being part of this referent event in your sector has filled us with emotions and good shared moments that we are already hoping to repeat.
