Junior Monthly Stableford – April & May

The April competition was played at the end of the month and was won by newcomer Carlos Herrero. Younger brother of Javier who was February’s champion, Carlos scored 44 points resulting in his first large handicap chop from 36 to 30. Fermin Palma finished second on 39 points with his 8 handicap, also being reduced.

The following week was the May edition in which Marco Furnell returned to form. After a relatively slow start to the year he set the course on fire with a gross 76, accumulating 40 points in the process. It was only good enough by one shot though, close behind was the Easter champ David Schneider who finished with another quality card of 39 points.
