This year, we reverted to having the Club Championship over 2 days on the same weekend. Over 60 players took part in early October for title of being crowned Mens, Ladies and Junior Champion of 2015 in this scratch competition.
Men’s winner and Club Champion was David Sharpe who has a handicap of 4, with a score of 157. Runner-up was Les McGlasson, an eight handicapper with 162.
Ladies winner and Club Champion was Carol du Toit, who has a handicap of 7 with a score of 159. Runner-up was Anne Conway, a 13 handicapper with 162.
In the junior section they play only the first day as an 18 hole tournament. Marco Furnell, the 12 year old with a handicap of 10, took the scratch prize and the Terry Wills Junior Championship Trophy with a score of 83. Four shots clear of runner-up Fermín Palma who scored 87. Taking the prize in the handciap category was Carmen Symonds. The Trophies as always were presented by Crissi Wills.
